Our Story

Southern Shore Girl was born before it became a boutique. The owner, Kelly Boyd, is from Pass Christian. She moved from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to the state's capital for over 10 years. The logo was created by her on a commemorative t-shirt for other homesick "coasties." They had one thing in common; the realization that you don't appreciate the beauty and culture here, until you're gone for too long!  She looks forward to meeting all Southern Shore Girls from the Bay to Ocean Springs, and everyone else, too!
